Amsterdam · for newcomers to NL

You've arrived.
Now let's get you properly settled.

Address, then BRP, then BSN, then DigiD — one blocks the next, and nobody hands you the map. GetSettld turns that chain into a checklist you can actually finish, without a €5,000 agency.

The dependency chain

Six steps. Each one waits on the last.

This is the actual sequence — not a random to-do list. Get the order wrong and you lose weeks waiting on an appointment you didn't need to wait for.

How GetSettld works

You don't need an agency. You need the right order.

01 · TELL US

Your situation

Visa type, city, employer or freelance, arrival date. Two minutes — we build your dossier from it.

02 · GET YOUR DOSSIER

A checklist that's actually yours

Every step in the right order, with the documents you personally need and links to book the right appointment.

03 · TRACK IT

Status, not guesswork

See what's done, what's blocked, and what's next — with reminders before deadlines like the 4-month insurance window.

Pricing

Priced for people paying their own way.

Agencies charge €1,500–€15,000 for this. We think most of it should cost you an afternoon and a fair flat fee.

Questions

Before you ask

No. GetSettld is an independent guide and service — not the IND, not your gemeente, not the Belastingdienst. We point you to the right official channels and help you prepare for them; the decisions themselves are always made by the relevant authority.

No — the earlier the better, actually. Most of the value is in the steps before your BSN: getting your address sorted and your BRP appointment booked correctly the first time.

The free and Guided dossiers adapt to your visa type and household, but genuinely complex cases (multiple dependents, self-employment registration, unusual permit types) are what Concierge is built for — a person reviews your specific situation.

No one can guarantee that — approval is entirely up to the gemeente and IND. What we guarantee is that you'll show up prepared, with the right documents, in the right order, so you're not the reason for a delay.
